Highlighting active listening skills and understand Home-Start’s confidentiality policy
Week 6
Safeguarding & child protection
Looking at child protection procedures
Week 7:

Discussing support for families experiencing mental health issues
Family life & supporting parents
How to support families experiencing domestic abuse and bereavement
Week 8:
MESH training
Learning about Home-Start’s administrative system
Representative from the Citizens’ Advice Bureau
Discussing relevant family support and information services
